Established in September 2003 with just 21 students and 4 teachers, OKI International School Kiribathgoda has grown into a vibrant educational institution that offers a comprehensive curriculum from nursery to Ordinary Level. The school operates under both the national stream and the Cambridge stream, providing students with choices in science and commerce subjects, all supported by a highly qualified and skilled teaching staff.

The school boasts modern facilities designed to enhance the learning experience. It features two IT laboratories equipped with the latest technology to ensure students develop essential IT skills. Additionally, a well-equipped science laboratory fosters a deep understanding of scientific principles through practical experiments. Furthermore, a well-stocked library promotes reading and supports students in their academic endeavors, providing a conducive environment for research and learning.

The curriculum is supplemented by a wide range of sports activities, including athletics, swimming, badminton, and karate, where students have the opportunity to excel at both national and international levels and Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular Activities The school encourages participation in various co-curricular and extra- curricular activities, such as English Literary Association, Science Association ,Media Club, Green Club, Scouting and Girl Guiding Clubs, Art Club and etc.

It is indeed a privilege to pen this message as the Principal of the Senior Section of OKI International School, Wattala.  Optimum Knowledge Institute, as the name suggests, from her inception has been dedicated to impart a holistic education to learners on vivid perspectives to its optimum standard. OKI, deeply rooted in the heart of Wattala,

as the oldest international school established in the area, has extended far and wide with her proud and profound landmarks ranging over two decades.  It is my obligation to record with high esteem and gratitude the vision of the visionary founder ‘To be the best school in molding children to be World Class Citizens’.  Abiding by the vision, the school paves the way for students to develop the spectsr sam dents
