The OKI International School Language Centre offers English language courses for various age groups, starting from 7 years, following the curriculum prescribed by the British Council. The program begins with the Pre A1 Starters (YLE Starters) level, followed by the A1 Movers (YLE Movers) and A2 Flyers (YLE Flyers) levels at subsequent stages. These classes are conducted exclusively by OKI teachers on Saturdays at the school premises.
Upon completion of the ‘STARTERS,’ ‘MOVERS,’ and ‘FLYERS’ levels, student’s progress to the A2 Key for Schools (KET) and B1 Preliminary for Schools (PET) levels, where they develop their spoken, listening, and writing skills. Students will receive a consolidated result only if they achieve the required pass mark in each module.
Children who start the ‘STARTERS’ course at age 7 are expected to complete the PET level by the time they reach 14 years. This structured program ensures a steady progression, building a strong foundation in English language proficiency.
