OKI offers a strong academic framework that integrates both the Cambridge International and National curricula in the English medium from Preschool to Advanced Level. For students in Grades 1 to 7, we follow the Cambridge pathway, which includes core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, and Computer Science. Additionally, we implement the National stream for other subjects, placing emphasis on aesthetic disciplines such as Art & Craft, Dancing, and Music & Movement.

We believe that Art & Craft, Dancing, and Music & Movement are essential in nurturing creativity, self-expression, and emotional intelligence. These subjects not only provide a balanced education but also help students develop a deeper appreciation for culture and the arts. Furthermore, we support the intellectual growth of students by introducing Robotics from Kindergarten to Grade 7 and Artificial Intelligence from Grade 8 onwards.

OKI School

At OKI, we recognise that student well-being is fundamental to both academic and personal success. That is why we have introduced Wellbeing as a dedicated subject in our curriculum. This subject focuses on mental and physical health, fostering emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and stress management.

From Grade 8 onwards, students can select their preferred academic streams—Commerce, Science, or the National curriculum. To further enhance their intellectual pursuits, we have also introduced STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) as a dedicated subject. This comprehensive approach ensures that education plays a crucial role in preparing students for future challenges and opportunities.

Holistic Well-being Initiatives

We prioritise mental resilience and well-being through key initiatives, especially as students transition into their teenage years (Grade 7 and above). These include:

The NDDCB’s Drug Prevention Awareness Programme, aimed at educating students on the risks of substance abuse.

Cyber Safety Awareness, focusing on the responsible use of social media and online spaces.

Cyberbullying Prevention Sessions, conducted in collaboration with CERT, empowering students to identify and prevent harmful online behaviour.

Additionally, our approach includes leadership training programs that enhance both mental and emotional intelligence, fostering personal growth. We also create an inclusive environment by providing adapted support for students with special needs, ensuring that every learner receives the care and attention needed to thrive.

Molding Future Trailblazers

OKI serves as an incubator for intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and global responsibility. We equip our students with the skills and mindset needed to confidently navigate the complexities of life. Through a dynamic and forward-thinking approach to education, we cultivate resilience, adaptability, and a passion for lifelong learning, preparing them to become the trailblazers of tomorrow.
