+94 11 2930016OKI International School, Kotikawatte was first established in September 2006. Later, it was relocated in Kaduwela, on the 06th of September 2018. It is located in close proximity to the Kaduwela junction.
The school is equipped with spacious classrooms, play areas, air-conditioned IT Laboratory with internet facilities, Science Laboratory, Robotics Room, Aesthetic Rooms, PT Room, Library, Audio Visual Room and a Basketball Court.
We cater for the students of the Pre-School to Ordinary Level, in the Cambridge curriculum in the English medium. The students have the choice of selecting either the Cambridge or the National curricular in Grade 8 to proceed up to O/Level. The management has introduced the subject Robotics for the students of KG to Grade 7 classes. Also, the Well-being subject is taught for the students of KG classes to Grade 7.
The school offers extra-curricular activities such as Swimming, Basketball, Chess, Karate and Athletics. Activities like Girl Guiding, Scouting, Netball and Cricket will be implemented very soon.
We also hold various Student Clubs and Societies such as the Media Club, Prefects’ Guild, Primary and Secondary English Literary Associations, Primary and Secondary Sinhala Literary Associations, Buddhist Society, Hindu Society and Islamic Society. The Senior Western Band is in action while the Primary Western Band is in the process of being implemented.
Further, it offers Cambridge Young Learners English courses, which lead to Cambridge YLE examinations in three levels: Starters, Movers, and Flyers, and the KET exams. The certificates are awarded from the University of Cambridge.
