The Diploma in Early Childhood & Pre-School Education combines academic knowledge, Montessori methodology, and practical training to equip students with the competencies required for careers in Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD).

Introduced in 2013, this diploma program was established with approval from state institutions granting diploma status and is registered under the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC) and the Ministry of Women’s Affairs and Child Development.

Students who complete the Early Childhood stream may also have opportunities to progress to higher studies, including Bachelor of Education pathways.

Course Overview


The Diploma in Early Childhood & Pre-School Education is a comprehensive professional program designed to develop skilled, knowledgeable, and compassionate early childhood educators. The course combines theory, practical training, Montessori methodology, and modern ECE practices, preparing students to work confidently in preschools, Montessori schools, daycare centres, and ECCD environments.

  • Class Days: Saturdays only
  • Time: 9.00 AM – 4.00 PM

Minimum Entry Qualification

  • G.C.E. Ordinary Level (A/L) with English,
