In commemoration of the sacred 𝐕𝐞𝐬𝐚𝐤 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐊𝐈 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐒𝐢𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 conducted with devotion and discipline.
Students of 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝟏 𝐭𝐨 𝟑 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐊𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞, 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝟒 𝐭𝐨 𝟕 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐮𝐧𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐒𝐢𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞. The senior students observed Sil within the school premises, creating an atmosphere of peace, mindfulness, and spiritual reflection.

OKI School

Throughout the day, students actively engaged in the three meritorious deeds of Dana, Sila, and Bhavana, strengthening their understanding of Buddhist values and practices. They also participated in Dhamma discussions and religious observances which encouraged moral growth, self-discipline, and compassion. The programme was spent meaningfully and productively, guiding students to give priority to the teachings and noble path of Lord Buddha while nurturing spiritual awareness and inner peace.
